• Native American Student Program Coordinator (Part-time)

Barnum Public Schools is seeking a culturally knowledgeable and passionate individual to support our PreK-12 Native American student population beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time position will work with school administration and a parent advisory committee to assure support programs and services align with priorities for student success, focusing on planning and facilitating meaningful cultural activities and learning experiences that celebrate Native American heritage and language, and providing tutoring support. Barnum Public Schools is seeking a quality candidate with strong musical knowledge and ability for our .50 FTE Junior High / High School Choir Teacher, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. MN licensure in vocal and classroom music is preferred. Pay per the teacher contract, based on a full-time annual salary range of $46,963 - $60,871, depending on licensing and experience. • Parent Educator (Part-time)

Barnum Public Schools is seeking a knowledgeable and appropriately licensed part-time Parent Educator to mentor, inform and encourage our early childhood parents one evening per week (most likely Thursday) during the school year. Job description. This position begins September 2026 and is a 2 hour / week position that includes one 75-minute class per week and 45 minutes of prep per week. A current Parent and Family Education license through PELSB is required. Pay is $32-35 per hour depending upon experience. • Bomber Club Childcare Provider, Part-time

We are looking for a responsible and dependable adult, at least 18-years-old with a high school diploma, to join our Bomber Club childcare team. Bomber Club operates before and after school and we need someone to help cover those afternoon hours from 3-6pm. If you love kids and would be excited to supervise and engage our elementary aged youth in fun and educational activities after school, you may be who we are looking for. Approximately 15-20 flexible hours per week. Non-school days and summer break would provide an opportunity to work more hours and during the day. $15.79/hour. • Housekeeper, Part-time

20 hours per week, year-round position, afternoon/evenings during school year (6-10pm), Monday - Friday; summer daytime hours up to 8 hrs/day, sharing time between the elementary and high schools. Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Responsible for the general cleaning of school property and other related duties as assigned by the Buildings & Grounds Supervisor. Pay range is $15.73 - $18.35/hour depending upon experience. • School Bus Drivers - Substitutes

We’re looking for quality people with positive attitudes and a clean driving record, who are either licensed to drive a school bus or are willing to get licensed, to drive school bus for Barnum Public Schools. We are specifically looking for substitute drivers to fill in for our regular drivers as needed. There would be opportunities to drive extra-curricular routes as well. A CDL with bus endorsement is required, but we will help train anyone who is interested in attaining a CDL and / or bus endorsement. Sub driver pay is $20/hour. • Substitute Teachers

Fill in for a classroom teacher following their sub plan. Must have a valid MN teaching license or a Short Call Substitute Teacher license (requires a 4-year degree – click Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board for more info).

• Substitute Special Education Paraprofessionals

Responsible for assisting special education teachers by providing extra assistance as directed to students on IEPs, including helping students with assignments, use of equipment, and personal care needs. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus either 2 years of higher education or have passed a para pro exam.

• Substitute Food Service Workers

Assist cooks in the preparation and serving of food as needed. Wash dishes and equipment used for preparing, serving, and eating school breakfasts and lunches. High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Substitute Housekeepers

Fill in for regular staff days off to ensure continuing of general cleaning of school property and other related duties as assigned by the Head Custodian.

• Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

Substitute as a teacher or teacher assistant in the early childhood classrooms in our elementary building. Must have a minimum of a 2-year degree.

Bring with you your application, driver's license and social security card, bank routing and account number (for direct deposit payment) and $22.50 for a background check. Background checks are required for all positions. Employment is dependent upon passing the background check. Substitute pay is $15/hour.
