• Bomber Club Childcare Provider, Part-time

We are looking for a responsible and dependable adult, at least 18-years-old with a high school diploma, to join our Bomber Club childcare team. Bomber Club operates before and after school and we need someone to help cover those afternoon hours from 3-6pm. If you love kids and would be excited to supervise and engage our elementary aged youth in fun and educational activities after school, you may be who we are looking for. Approximately 15-20 flexible hours per week. Non-school days and summer break would provide an opportunity to work more hours and during the day. $15.79/hour. • Van Driver, Part-time

20-30 hours per week, morning and afternoon routes. AM route begins at 6:30am and PM route begins at 2:00 pm. Driving to Cloquet Monday - Friday, student contact days. Possible mid-day route in area. $18/hr., minimum 2 hours per trip. Responsible for safely transporting students in all types of weather and road conditions, addressing transportation/student matters with students, parents, staff and supervisor, and pre and post-trip inspections of driving vehicles. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Bus and van drivers must pass a physical and hold a current medical certificate. • Housekeeper, Part-time

20 hours per week, year-round position, afternoon/evenings during school year (6-10pm), summer daytime hours, Monday-Friday, sharing time between the elementary and high schools. Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Responsible for the general cleaning of school property and other related duties as assigned by the Buildings & Grounds Supervisor. Pay range is $15.73 - $18.35 depending upon experience. • Paraprofessionals - Full-time and Substitute

We’re looking for team players who enjoy working with and encouraging kids, with the shared goal of ensuring every kid experiences success at school. Responsibilities include assisting special education teachers by providing extra assistance as directed to students on IEPs, including helping students with assignments, use of equipment, and personal care needs. Several positions available. This position is 7 hours a day on student contact days when school is in session, as well as a few training days each year. Must have either an A.A. degree, two or more years of education beyond high school or have passed or are able to pass a para educator exam. Click here for the complete job description. • Substitute Teachers

Fill in for a classroom teacher following their sub plan. Must have a valid MN teaching license or a Short Call Substitute Teacher license (requires a 4-year degree – click Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board for more info).

• Substitute Special Education Paraprofessionals

Responsible for assisting special education teachers by providing extra assistance as directed to students on IEPs, including helping students with assignments, use of equipment, and personal care needs. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus either 2 years of higher education or have passed a para pro exam.

• Substitute Bus / Van Drivers

For morning and / or afternoon bus routes and / or drive for extra-curricular and field trips. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a CDL license with bus endorsement. If you aren’t licensed and are interested in driving, we will help you through the licensing process.

• Substitute Food Service Workers

Assist cooks in the preparation and serving of food as needed. Wash dishes and equipment used for preparing, serving, and eating school breakfasts and lunches. High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Substitute Housekeepers

Fill in for regular staff days off to ensure continuing of general cleaning of school property and other related duties as assigned by the Head Custodian.

• Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

Substitute as a teacher or teacher assistant in the early childhood classrooms in our elementary building. Must have a minimum of a 2-year degree.

For all substitute positions, stop in at the District office to apply or call 218-389-6978 x1001 with questions. The process includes new hire paperwork and some online training, and will take approximately one hour. Bring with you your application, driver's license and social security card, bank routing and account number (for direct deposit payment) and $22.50 for a background check. Background checks are required for all positions. Employment is dependent upon passing the background check.
