Congratulations to Coach Newman, Barnum Boys Head Basketball Coach, who was inducted into the MN Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame on October 25. Coach Newman has been coaching the Barnum varsity team for 26 years and coached the junior varsity team for 9 years prior to that. BES 6th graders spent 3 days immersed in environmental education and team-building activities at Wolf Ridge in Finland, MN. They participated in hands-on sessions with naturalists that emphasized their role in environmental conservation and taught them to challenge themselves. These activities consisted of rock climbing, a ropes course, geology/hiking, wetlands exploration, and exploration of Ojibwe life. #BES #6thGr #WolfRidge #ScienceIsFun! #BarnumBombers
