Spanish students learned about the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos. Each class made a different art-based project. Spanish 8 created nichos to represent a famous person who has passed; Spanish 1 drew butterflies representing a loved one that has passed; Spanish 2 decorated sugar skulls and Spanish 3 crafted their own alebrijes. #BHS #BarnumBombers

BES staff started what hopes to become an annual tradition - a day of Holiday Bead Battle. Staff were each given a bead necklace and they challenged each other to Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot to win their challengers beads. At the end of the day it came down to two remaining contestants with beads - Morgan Langhorst and Courtney Oetterer. And the winner is....Courtney Oetterer.
