Is that an eye in the sky or a sun halo? Some BES 6th graders recently enjoying outdoor recess pointed out a cool science phenomenon - a sun halo, which was caught on camera by Mrs. Gullickson! This phenomenon is created by crystals in the air that reflect light to create the halo effect around the sun. Learning can happen anywhere!
